The following is the schedule for the March Founders Day events.
 
Date: 2nd Friday, March 10th
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 PM 
Where: Lake David Community Center
Costumes are optional, but encouraged.

Presentations will be inside the Museum. 
The tours will start outside the Museum and the presentations will be inside. 
Tours are around a half-mile long and last about one hour.
 
  • 2:00-2:30 PM: Orange Belt Railway Presentation by Richard Cronin
  • 2:30-3:00 PM: Groveland Founders Presentation by Jason Brown
  • 3:30-4:30 PM: Downtown Groveland Walking Tour by Jason Brown
  • 5:00-6:00 PM: Downtown Groveland Walking Tour by Jason Brown

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM 
Where: Puryear Building
We have two 100 year old individuals, Mr. Jean Charron and Mrs. Mary Lou Solomon, that we will be celebrating. 
 
If you know of any more 100+ year olds of the Groveland/Mascotte area, they are welcome to come as well.  Be sure to have them contact the Goveland Historical Society prior to the event.
