Celebrate Earth Day on April 22 at Lake Hiawatha Park in Clermont from 7:30 am to noon.  Work with the Lake and Park Cleanup Team beginning at 7:30 am. The festival will start at 10:00 am, with booths filled with environmental education, kids zone, DJ and more.  FREE Hotdogs will be available while supplies last.
 
 

The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 on about 2,000 college campuses to promote ecology and respect for life on the planet. Since then, it has grown to an annual environmental protection celebration that is observed in more than 190 countries.
