GROVELAND – The Groveland City Council recently named J.S.J. Unlimited, LLC, the Business of the Month for April. The locally owned and operated landscape company, at 14435 Division St. in Groveland, was founded in 2011 and has been headquartered in Groveland fox six years.

“We are very thankful,” said company President Joshua Wasden. “It was really special because we had donated a portion of the grass and labor to redo the football field at Gray Middle School. We are grateful to the City of Groveland, the chief of police and all the local residents for supporting us.”

J.S.J. Unlimited, LLC, is rated the No. 1 sod supplier in Central Florida, according to their website. The company specializes in a variety of sod as well as other landscaping materials. Wasden said his family has lived in the area for over 100 years and that the company tries to give back to the community every chance they get.

Tim Maslow, Groveland’s Community Development director, said the company was recognized for its charitable involvement with the football field project, as well as other contributions enhancing the community’s livability and natural charm.

“We appreciate their commitment to our vision,” Maslow said.

Mike Walker, director of Parks and Community Services, said the newly sodded fields will allow for more youth sports and will provide a beautiful home field for the South Lake Pop Warner Football & Cheer program.
