Thanks to the generosity of their members, The Clermont Woman’s Club recently prepared baskets full of goodies along with a thank you note saying, “you do make a difference and thank you for what you do!” They distributed them to the Clermont Police and Fire Departments, Groveland Police and Fire Departments, Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Clermont Public Works Department.
The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated Woman’s Club chartered in 1927. It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they are able to support international, national and local charities. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at 12:30pm at their clubhouse, 655 W Broome St. and 7th St., Clermont. For information see http://www.clermontwomansclub.org.
