On May 5th, the VFW Post #5277 and Auxiliary members donated food to two schools in Clermont for the “VFW Still Serving” program which continued through May 31st.
Accepting the food at the Sawgrass Bay Elementary School was Ms. Hailey O’Conner. Later that morning accepting the food at the Magic Moments Learning Center was Mrs. Cathy Clay.
The post and Auxiliary members distributing the food were James Nelson Commander, Sue Abbott President, Brigitte Farrell treasurer, Bob Farrell Quartermaster, and members Cindy & Gerry Courtney and Ken Googe the Judge Advocate.
Both schools were very appreciative
