Soon, Central Floridians will have even more opportunities to shop and donate at their local Goodwill.

Beginning July 1, 2023, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) stores across its six-county service area will have expanded hours. Retail stores in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia and Lake counties will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

“Many of Goodwill’s shoppers and donors are busy people with 9 to 5 jobs,” said Ed Durkee, president and CEO. “By offering extended store hours, we aim to make it more convenient for our customers to get their shopping done and drop off their donations – which in turn, will provide even more goods and resources for our neighbors.”

Donations allow Goodwill to offer low-cost goods to the community while also providing resources and jobs to Central Floridians. Revenue generated through sales of gently used items fund the organization’s employment placement and job skills training services, as well as its vocational rehabilitation program.

Store hours at GICF’s Outlet locations and Donation Xpress Centers remain the same.
