A bigger and better Red, White & BOOM will lift spirits and light up July Fourth as Clermont celebrates America.

The free, family event will be filled with fun activities, tasty foods and live entertainment at Waterfront Park, 330 Third Street from 7 to 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 4.

A variety of music will be provided throughout the evening at the Highlander Pavilion and includes Solid State, The Crew and Host Rod – Z. Food trucks will feature culinary delights, a pieeating contest guarantees big, messy smiles and the “Little Firecracker” costume competition will showcase kids decked out in red, white and blue.

An Independence Day celebration would not be complete without fireworks and Clermont’s display is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. Public parking is available on Osceola, Montrose, Desoto, 7th and 8th streets as well as Minneola, West and Lake avenues.

To provide additional parking options, shuttle buses will offer free rides to Waterfront Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. from the following locations:
