Nestled in the Downtown Clermont Art Walk District, Black Bear Kitchen will soon open.  Located at 756 West Montrose Street, the Black Bear will begin welcoming guests through its doors sometime in July, the exact date hasn’t been decided. A full-opening is planned for early August according to owner Shawn Scott.

Scott describes the Clermont location as a restaurant that will be returning to its original roots of barbeque. Black Bear’s first location in Mount Dora began in 2013 and has continued as a favorite place to local patrons of Black Bear’s location in Montverde, 17440 7th Street. The Montverde location will remain in place and open for business.
