The Animal League will hold its most talked about annual event the “Puttin’ Fore Paws Golf Tournament” at The Plantation Golf Club in Leesburg, Florida on September 23, 2023, at 8:00 a.m.

Over the past seven years, golf enthusiasts and pet lovers have supported the ongoing work of The Animal League in their life-saving efforts for cats (kittens) and dogs (puppies) that may have otherwise been euthanized by being part of the Puttin’ Fore Paws Golf Tournament. This event brings the community together to enjoy a day out on the golf course while raising donations to support The Animal League.

Did you know the average cost of care for a pet with minimal medical needs entering the doors of The Animal League is $550? This does not include all of the major medical cases we bring in every month such as broken bones, skin disease, and worse, which can cost thousands of dollars for a severely injured pet. The Animal League receives no funding from the county, government, or taxpayers. The question often follows, “How can you save so many pets without funding?” The answer is simple. You. That’s why it is so important to come together and support the efforts of The Animal League.

This year, we are very excited to host our event in a new location, The Plantation Golf Club in Leesburg, Florida. The 18-hole “Cranes Roost” course at the Plantation Golf Club features 6,005 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. We are asking the Central Florida community to play a vital role in supporting The Animal League by becoming an event sponsor.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, catering to all budgets and commitment levels, starting at $150 and up to $2,500. These sponsorships give companies (and individuals) the opportunity to promote their brand and gain exposure as supporters of The Animal League. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor or registering for the tournament, please visit theanimalleague.org/puttinforepaws. Your unwavering support will demonstrate your commitment to The Animal League and its dedication to making a positive impact on so many animals. We encourage you to join us in this endeavor by becoming a sponsor or donating to our cause.

We look forward to seeing you on September 23, 2023. The Animal League welcomes any and all individuals, businesses and organizations to participate in and sponsor the event. All proceeds raised directly benefit the animals rescued by The Animal League.
