The Kiwanis Club of Clermont has enjoyed a long-time partnership with the City of Clermont and the club’s Memorial Day and Veterans Day flag programs at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont.

The club places a United States of America flag on the resting place of each veteran and first responder at Oak Hill.

Steve King, a 35-year employee of the City of Clermont, has been the caretaker of the Oak Hill grounds for decades. Mr. King routinely takes the extra effort to assist our club’s maintenance of the 503 flags that are on display during the week of both holidays.

The club sincerely thanks Mr. King for his efforts and continued support of a program that touches so many in the community.
