Long-time Clermont resident Nick Jones peacefully passed surrounded by his beloved wife Betty Sue, daughters, family and friends.
Nick was a Florida State University Alumnus and a local architect specializing in the design of churches. He loved his community and was an active supporter of the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra, the Clermont Historical Society, a member of the Clermont-Minneola Lions Club, and the Clermont Philosophy Club.
His family invites the community to join them at his memorial service on Saturday, July 15 at 10 am at Living Hope Church (formerly the United Methodist Church) at 950 7th St., Clermont.
His granddaughter Nancy Clutts fondly says, “He would have called this service ‘His People Collection Party’!
