Trinity Clarke, a rising eleventh grader at Montverde Academy, competed in the Scotiabank Junior Monarch Annual Competition in Barbados.

As the representation of schools drives this competition, it was Trinity’s pleasure to represent MVA for her second entry into this event. Trinity placed first-runner up, and she is proud to dedicate this victory to her first year at MVA. She looks forward to representing her school more across the globe.

Trinity also won Best Self-Penned Song for “I Love Soca.” This win in particular was Trinity’s goal as she is developing her songwriting talent rapidly. As a tribute to her national festival, Trinity released her first extended play (EP) album titled “Trinity Love Soca” which is streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.

Trinity’s final year in this national event will be in 2024, when she hopes to bring home the Monarch.
