The vacant CVS Building located at 4405 South US Highway 27, (intersection of Hartwood Marsh Road and US Highway 27), may be transformed into a hospital-based, off-campus emergency clinic providing emergency services and care to the residents of South Lake.
If approved by Clermont City Council, the interior and exterior of the existing building will be updated and the clinic will provide emergency services to handle any emergency transfers requiring ground emergency patient transport services.
The facility will be licensed as a hospital-based off-campus emergency department of UF Health Leesburg Hospital.
