Downtown Clermont is buzzing with excitement as the Annual Harvest Festival makes a grand return on Saturday, October 28, from 10 am – 4 pm. Stretching from Minneola Avenue to 8th Street, West Montrose, the City Hall lawn, and 7th Street, this year’s festival promises an extended celebration of fall festivities.

Families and individuals alike are invited to celebrate fall with a day filled with delightful autumn activities. From a charming pumpkin patch and a lively kids’ zone to the enchanting beats of live music and the cutest pet costume contest, the event has something special for everyone. Attendees can look forward to thrilling kids’ costume contests, delectable fall treats, and a variety of other exciting surprises – all of this, completely free of charge.

Indulge in the flavors and aromas of fall with an array of food and beverage vendors offering everything from kettle corn to street corn. Experience the joy of shopping at the festival’s homemade crafts vendors and unique gift offerings. Sip on seasonal beers or fall-flavored mimosas while exploring Clermont’s diverse retail shops, boutiques, restaurants, and breweries.

For our furry friends, The Animal League’s Pet Parade & Costume Contest will be a highlight of the day. Register your pets at the Downtown Clermont Farmers Market behind the Thrift Store every Sunday in October. The parade, starting at 12:30 pm, promises adorable pets dressed to impress, with judging beginning at 1 pm. All proceeds from this event will support the lovable animals at The Animal League.

Additionally, participants can now sign up for the Ritter’s Costume Contest, with early registrants receiving a free goodie bag. Fantastic prizes await winners in four age group categories and the group competition. To register, visit https://www.facebook.com/RittersClermont.

The festival boasts a plethora of activities, including fall-themed photo booths, pumpkin patches, and a Kid Zone featuring fairy hair and face-painting for the little ones.

Musical entertainment will be a highlight of the day, featuring Juno Smile performing from 10 am – 1 pm at the pavilion on 8th Street and Minneola Avenue. This dynamic duo offers a diverse repertoire of covers, showcasing their talents on up to six different instruments simultaneously. Professional entertainer DJ Renee will host a non-stop, action-packed interactive show and family-friendly music and activities on the City Hall Lawn. DJ Perkins will keep the energy high on Minneola Ave, providing the perfect backdrop for festivalgoers to relax with friends while enjoying the tunes.
