Members and guests enjoyed the first meeting of the Clermont Garden Club on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

The current president, Gwen Carter, outlined the Club goals and discussed events that generate camper scholarships for Wekiva Youth Camp (3-8th graders) and the SEEK Conference weekend (Saving Earth’s Environment through Knowledge,10-12th graders). A description of upcoming programs, activities and field trips was also provided. The club currently has 70 members.

The Clermont Garden Club meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September through May at the clubhouse located at 849 West Ave, Clermont, FL (except for scheduled field trips, holidays and end-of-year luncheon). Social time is 9:30 am to 10:00 am, followed by the meeting at 10:00 am till noon. Light refreshments are served. The Club is a 501c3 organization. The public is welcome to attend meetings. The CGC facility is available to rent for meetings, parties, weddings, etc. by contacting the Club’s rental chairman at www.ClermontGardenClub.com.
