Monday, October 2nd – Lake Minneola vs East Ridge
On the night of October 2nd, East Ridge Knights and the Lake Minneola Hawks faced off in a highly anticipated football game. The rivalry resulted in an enormous turnout, and quickly filled bleachers and parking lots at East Ridge’s home field.
Both teams played with determination and persistence, with great encouragement from enthusiastic stands full of students, family, and friends.
Though Lake Minneola took the victory with a score of 47 to 3, both teams and their respective crowds proved that there is no lack of school spirit in the South Lake area.
