The South Lake Elks Club is holding its annual Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, December 2 at sunset.  Note: The parade route has been changed.

This year’s theme is “Fill the Boat” with toys. Donate toys in exchange for a boat # for you and your boat to compete for prizes.

PLEASE NOTE THE ROUTE CHANGE
2023 Lighted Boat Parade Clermont Chain

The Parade Route has changed to make the parade go smoother/quicker plus to make it great for our community.  Lookers can view the parade from Lake Minneola Tiki Bar, Waterfront, Victory Pointe, West Beach and 12th Street by the bridge.

Boaters participating in the parade, please meet an hour before sunset in the NW Cove corner (between Hiawatha Preserve & Palisades Bridge) of LAKE MINNEOLA at approximately 4:30 pm.

The parade will start in Lake Minneola going clockwise then to Lake Minnehaha (turn left)  going clockwise.  Note: If decorating only one side of the boat, focus on the PORT(Left) side of boat.

LOOK FOR THE LEAD BOAT WITH SANTA and the flashing light. Donate a new unwrapped toy to Santa to get a boat number (what you show at Judges Stations to get votes) to participate in the Best Decorated Boat Competition.

Cypress Cove Marina Resort & The Cove Bar will be the final stop (approx 8 pm) where the winners will be announced and prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. You’ll also get $1 off your drink when you show your boat parade participation number.
