Bringing us into 2024, Clermont Garden Club’s Yard-of-the-Month is the home of Rich Fisher at 10914 Crescent Ridge Loop in Clermont. This hidden gem is the perfect oasis adorned with a beautiful Angel Trumpet Brugmansia over a fishpond which is home to koi and goldfish. Several rose bushes (rosaceae) line the pathway to the front entrance. Bougainvillea (bougainvillea spectabilis), bromeliads (bromeliaceae from the family of monocot flowering plants), Song of India (Dracaena reflexa) and a variegated red hibiscus (hibiscus acetosella) are among the many plants, shrubs and trees found in the well-maintained garden. So much color still appears this time of year.

Rick Fisher is the owner of Fisher’s Landscape. Rich designs gardens worldwide as well in our local area (including the entrance to Osprey Pointe at Lakeshore Drive). Rich tends the garden every evening and if he is there when you pass by, he will be only too glad to share information and chat with you about gardening.
Clermont Garden Club members meet every third Wednesday of the month (September through May) at the clubhouse located at 849 West Avenue, Clermont, FL (except during scheduled field trips or luncheons). Meetings begin by 10:00 A.M, and light refreshments are served beforehand. New members and guests are warmly welcome. Clermont Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
