The South Lake Aquatic Team Lightning (SLAC) made a huge splash at the Ralph Crocker Classic swim meet in Auburn on January 12-15th. SLAC competed against 25 other teams from 6 states and experienced massive time drops across both men’s and women’s teams! 
 
Additionally, they had: 

5 new Florida Age Group Championships qualifiers: Ismail Elamari, Bella Estep, Michaela Snook, Caleb Stromberg, and Jackson Kelly.

1 new Florida Senior Championship qualifier: Katon Schmidt
1 new USA Swimming South Sectionals Qualifier: Henry Carlisle. 
 
Event winners were:
  • Rory Connelly Senior 200 Free, 100 Fly.
  • Blake Agamez 10 and under 50 Fly
  • Rory Connelly set a team record in the 15-16 year old 50 free, 200 free, and 400 IM 
  • Blake Agamez set a team record in the 10 and under 50 fly
