Steve and Laura Green, owners of Clermont Fish House, are embarking on a new venture. The couple is set to introduce an English Pub experience to the heart of downtown Clermont with the opening of “The Bell Clermont.”

Steve Green was raised in the Norwich area of England and brings with him a wealth of authentic pub culture and tradition. Drawing upon his personal roots and fond memories, Steve and Laura aim to recreate the warm and friendly ambiance of the English pub to downtown Clermont.

Scheduled for a mid-May grand opening, The Bell Clermont promises to be a haven for locals and visitors seeking a taste of England’s pub life. Situated at 637 8th St., it will serve as a welcoming retreat for those craving a genuine pub experience.

Steve and Laura’s inspiration for The Bell Clermont stems from his formative years spent in a beloved local pub back in England. Fondly reminiscing about dart leagues and football camaraderie, he envisions his establishment as a hub for community bonding and leisure enjoyment.

“I want the atmosphere to be a neighborhood pub where you can grab a pint and spend some time talking with friends,” remarks Steve.

As patrons step through the doors of The Bell Clermont, they can expect to be greeted by an inviting ambiance steeped in English charm. Their original restaurant, Clermont Fish House, located at 110 W Highway 50, Clermont, will remain open.

Steve and Laura hope to deliver an experience that pays homage to the fond memories Steve has of “The Bell” in Norwich England.

Mark your calendars, raise a pint, and prepare to embark on a journey to the heart of England right here in Clermont. Cheers to new beginnings at The Bell Clermont!
