After 25 years of serving the South Lake Community, Kim’s Cabbage Patch bids farewell with its final day of operation on Tuesday, March 5th.
Kim Fielding and partner Suzi Basting owned Kim’s Cabbage Patch until 2021 when it was acquired by Jamie and Dustin Lowe, owners of Lake Catherine Farms, a century-old family blueberry farm in Groveland.
Recently, Jamie and Dustin sold the shop, located on the SW corner of 5th Street and Hwy 50 to Harvest Market. Harvest Market promises to be a haven for organic and conventional meats, dairy, and produce. Every item available at Harvest Market will be locally sourced.
Rumor has it that Harvest Market will be a small glimpse of its upcoming larger-scale Groveland Harvest Market storefront.
Save the date! On Friday, March 8th, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Harvest Market invites the community to celebrate its grand opening at
511 W Highway 50, Clermont.
The opening of Grace O’Malley’s Public House has been delayed and sadly won’t be ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day weekend with the community.
The Irish Pub, located at 2400 US Hwy 27, Unit 101 (formerly the location of Graffiti Junction), has been undergoing some major changes. Prepare to welcome the pub soon. They should be ready to open by April 1.
Opening: Dim Sum House – Eager patrons were disappointed when the opening of Dim Sum House kept being delayed, which fueled rumors that the Cantonese restaurant might not grace the town after all. It has been confirmed that Dim Sum House will open. When is another story.
Owner John Zhao, known for his culinary prowess at YH Seafood in Doctor Phillips and the recently launched Bakery 1908 in Orlando’s Mills 50 neighborhood is behind this exciting venture. With a commitment to authenticity and quality, Dim Sum House promises to be a vibrant addition to Clermont’s dining scene.
