OAKLAND, FL — The Town of Oakland’s “2024 Celebration Among the Oaks” event is returning with an expanded footprint, offering more experiences, 40,000 eggs, and crafts vendors, bringing the community together for a springtime festival.

At “Celebration Among the Oaks,” guests will have the opportunity to view thousands of easter eggs drop from the sky out of a helicopter. Families can pose with the Easter Bunny, shop at over 50 vendor booths, play putt-putt golf, join in science experiments from Mad Science of NE Central Florida, and more!

  • *Watch thousands of eggs drop from the sky by Helicopter at 12:45 p.m. onto VanderLey Park, 117 Gulley Ave., Oakland, and participate in an Egg Hunt hosted by The Lakeside Church.
  • *Play, chase, and pop a continuous stream of bubbles at “The Bubble Bus” interactive booth.
  • *Visit with the Easter Bunny in Oakland’s Gazebo.
  • *Shop at over 50 Vendor Booths including homemade baked goods, arts & crafts, and beautifully arranged plants organized in partnership with Orange Blossom Market Co.
  • *Bring your appetite and dine at Food Trucks including Hot Dog Therapy, The Salted Fry, Razzo’s Pizzeria, Casa Daza Empanadas and more!
  • *Stroll along the West Orange Trail to The Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center at the Town of Oakland where “The Central Florida Watercolor Society” will host their annual juried show and celebrate their 25th Anniversary as an organization.
