This sweet boy was all alone, starving, and emaciated, and wandered into a Walmart looking for help from humans.  He weighed just 29 pounds.  A sweet soul took him in and worked tirelessly to find him a rescue partner who would help bring him back to good health and find him a great home.
That is where The Animal League came in!  Upon entering into our care, we got Wally the best medical attention available.  It was found that this sweet boy was so hungry he had resorted to eating plastic and rocks….yes ROCKS.  His belly was full of them.  Fortunately, Wally was able to pass all of the rocks on his own without surgery and is eating anything he wants. He has gained 16 pounds and is eating like a champ and learning what it is to never be without food.
Wally is looking for his forever family.  He is a one-year-old Boxer blend.  He is a good boy with a lot of puppy energy and is ready to see the world!  He is just the sweetest boy and is friendly with everyone he meets.  As he was on his own for so long, he would benefit from a family willing to help him with his basic manners.  He loves to go for walks and run and play in the yard.  He is also potty trained and needs to adjust to your home and schedule.
