Communities across the country are coming together to support the Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run. This year, on April 23, the torch will blaze its trail, as it makes its way to the Special Olympics Headquarters located at 1915 Don Wickham Dr. Clermont.

Mark your calendars:  Registration begins at 9 am, signaling the start of the event filled with camaraderie. Participants, whether they’re law enforcement officers, Special Olympics athletes, or members of the community, will join forces to carry the torch, symbolizing the journey towards acceptance and understanding of individuals with disabilities.

In the spirit of continuous support, stay tuned for  “Tip A Cop” events, where law enforcement officers will don aprons instead of uniforms to raise funds for the Special Olympics.

On April 23,  join the Torch Run to light up the lives of individuals with disabilities.
