Dear Residents,

We are writing to inform you of a potential safety concern regarding Alpine Road. Recent observations have raised concerns about a possible sinkhole formation, which poses a risk to the safety of our community members.

As a precautionary measure on advice from the city’s engineer, we have decided to close Alpine Road until further notice. This closure is necessary to assess the extent of the damage and determine the required repairs to ensure the safety of all residents and commuters.

We understand that this road closure may cause inconvenience, and we apologize for any disruptions to your daily routines. However, the safety of our community is our top priority, and we must take swift action to address this issue.

During this time, we urge you to use alternate routes to reach your destinations. We are actively working to assess the situation and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated as we work to resolve this matter promptly and effectively.

Please stay tuned for further updates through our official communication channels, including our website, and the city’s social media platform.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. City Staff
