Members of Beta Theta ESA, a local philanthropic service organization, recently demonstrated their commitment to supporting the fight against cancer by presenting a check to the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation (GCCF) at the Bras For A Cause and Boxers Too fundraiser. The event, held at the Clermont Performing Arts Center on April 13, emphasized the importance of providing financial assistance, support, and comfort to individuals battling cancer in South Lake County.
The check serves as a testament to Beta Theta’s dedication to GCCF’s mission of aiding cancer patients and their families during challenging times. In addition to offering financial aid, GCCF extends its support by providing scholarships to the immediate family members of those affected by cancer, thereby alleviating some of the financial burdens.
Beta Theta ESA, which was chartered in 1979, has been steadfast in its support within the community, raising funds and providing assistance to address various needs.
