East Ridge Middle School Proud The Ironsides, an 8th-grade VRC Robotics team from East Ridge Middle School, showcased their talents on a global stage at the VEX Robotics World Championship held in Dallas, Texas. The team demonstrated their abilities securing commendable positions.

Out of 82 teams in the Science Division, the Ironsides claimed the 37th spot, reflecting their dedication and skill in designing and operating their robot. A great job!

In the Skills Challenge, a test of individual robot performance, the Ironsides secured 34th position out of an impressive pool of 308 competitors. 

With their remarkable performance, the Ironsides have not only brought pride to East Ridge Middle School but have also established themselves as formidable contenders in the world of VEX Robotics. As 8th graders, they are setting their sights on transitioning to the High School Division next year.
