On Saturday, May 25, the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall arrived in Clermont, escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders. This poignant and powerful tribute to the fallen heroes of the Vietnam War will be available for public viewing over the Memorial Day weekend, culminating in a special “Honoring and Remembrance” ceremony on Monday, May 27.

The Wall, a three-fifths scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., provides a unique opportunity for those who may not be able to visit the capital to pay their respects. The Traveling Wall will be displayed at the Highlander Building Pavilion at Waterfront Park, 330 Third Street, offering a serene and reflective space for visitors.

This free event invites the entire community to come together in a shared moment of reflection and gratitude. Attendees can expect to be deeply touched by the stories of sacrifice and bravery commemorated by the Wall, as well as by the heartfelt tributes planned for the ceremony.
