Southern Hill Farm hosted its inaugural Sweetcorn Festival on June 8-9, bringing a weekend full of joy, entertainment, and, of course, plenty of sweetcorn. The festival marked the celebration of the sweetcorn harvest and the official kick-off to Southern Hill Summer.

The festival was a delightful family affair, featuring a variety of activities and attractions for attendees of all ages. Outlaw’s Bridge set the tone with live music, filling the air with lively tunes. Children and animal lovers enjoyed the petting zoo, while nature enthusiasts marveled at the Zinnia Fields and navigated the Sunflower Maze.

Festival-goers also had the chance to hop on a wagon ride, participate in corn-themed contests, and capture memories at the photo booth. The Kid Zone entertained the little ones, and the unique “all-you-can-fill” peach box was a hit among fruit lovers.

No festival would be complete without delicious food, and Southern Hill Farm did not disappoint. Food trucks lined the event, offering a variety of treats, and there was no shortage of corn in its many delectable forms.

Located at 16651 Schofield Road, Clermont, Southern Hill Farm is excited to continue providing memorable experiences with their new summer farm experience. This festival was the beginning of more fun and community engagement throughout the summer season.
