The South Lake Chamber of Commerce (SLCC) is hosting the premier political event of the season, the 2024 Lake County Hob Nob, presented by Walt Disney World Resort, at the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 5:00 pm  – 7:30 pm 

The 2024 Lake County Hob Nob will showcase candidates from various levels of government, including state, federal, and local races. Attendees will have the chance to meet these political candidates and participate in a straw poll organized by the Lake County Supervisor of Elections. This event is free and open to the public and will feature food provided by Lake Catherine Catering and Events. 

According to David Colby, President and CEO of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, “The 2024 Lake County Hob Nob offers a distinctive chance for South Lake community members to interact personally with the candidates of the 2024 election.” Colby further emphasized, “Our goal is for the South Lake community to be thoroughly informed about the issues on the upcoming ballot, especially with the presidential election happening this year, and to have the opportunity to discuss these topics directly with the candidates.”
