In a gesture of support for local education, Beta Theta-ESA has awarded scholarships to two deserving students from Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC). The recipients, Karissa Merchant and Alstair Clark, each received a $1,000.00 scholarship to assist them on their academic journeys.

Karissa Merchant and Alstair Clark have shown remarkable dedication and promise in their studies at LSSC. These scholarships are intended to provide financial relief and encouragement as they pursue their educational goals. Beta Theta-ESA members have expressed their confidence in these students’ potential to become successful, contributing members of the community.

The scholarships highlight Beta Theta-ESA’s commitment to fostering educational excellence and supporting the aspirations of worthy students within their community. This financial aid will help Karissa and Alstair focus more on their studies and less on the financial burdens that often accompany higher education.

Karissa, one of the scholarship recipients, stated, “This scholarship means the world to me. It not only helps me financially but also motivates me to strive for excellence in my studies and future career.” Alstair Clarke echoed similar sentiments, expressing gratitude for the support. 

Members of Beta Theta-ESA are confident that their investment in these students’ education will yield positive results. By empowering students like Karissa and Alstair, they aim to cultivate a future generation of leaders and professionals who will give back to the community.
