The Kiwanis Club of Clermont enjoys a tradition of supporting the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in its annual “Project Kid Connect” backpack and school supply giveaway.
The club recently donated $1,500.00 to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department’s Charities Fund to be used towards the event.
This year’s event will be on July 13th, from 9 am – noon at the South Lake District Office, 15855 SR-50, Clermont.
Free food and drinks while supplies last. Children must be present to receive a backpack and must be a Lake County student.
