The Neighborhood Center of South Lake celebrated their most cherished individuals – their dedicated volunteers. Green Valley Country Club provided the backdrop for the celebration.
These unwavering individuals assist in combating hunger within the South Lake community. Their commitment and hard work throughout the year have not only made a difference but have also touched countless lives.
The festivities began with a heartfelt expression of gratitude. The volunteers had a chance to mix and mingle as well as enjoy tasty offering from a taco bar.
A highlight of the event was the chance drawing, where the volunteers had the opportunity to win some prizes which was a small token of appreciation for their selfless service and the countless hours they have devoted to making the community a better place.
The volunteers collectively contributed nearly 15,000 hours of their time, a testament to their passion and commitment to improving the lives of those in need. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed, and they truly stand as the unsung heroes of our community.
