The Groveland Police Department’s third annual “Christmas in July” Toy Drive, Outdoor Expo, and Car Show will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 10 am to 2 pm at Groveland Ace Hardware, 1007 SR 50, Groveland. This event, in partnership with Ace Hardware and Dynamic Designz, promises a day filled with fun, education, and community spirit.
All proceeds will support the Groveland Police Department’s Holiday Toy Drive and benefit the Groveland Police Explorers 501(c)(3).
Event Highlights:
- Toy Drive & Raffle Fundraiser: Participate in our exciting raffle with items donated by our generous sponsors, including nearly 60 amazing prizes. Tickets are available before and during the event.
- Outdoor Expo: Educational booths from the City Conservation Department and Lake County bird experts, showcasing local wildlife, urban farming, hunting, fishing, and more.
- Observation Hive & Urban Farming: Discover the world of bees and the benefits of urban farming.
- Car Show: Hosted by Dynamic Designz and O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. Entry is $10 and a new unwrapped toy. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus fun giveaways.
- Food Vendors: Enjoy tacos, cookies, macaroons, marshmallows, ice cream, shaved ice, and drinks.

- Special Guests: Get photos with Santa Claus in his summer attire, a gingerbread man, and Florida’s only snowman!
