Master Deputy Sheriff Bradley Michael Link (July 20, 1996 – August 3, 2024) died in the line of duty heroically serving his community and fellow deputies after responding to a disturbance call in the northeast portion of Lake County in rural Eustis.

Bradley Michael Link – age 28, a beloved figure of the Lake County area, sadly left our world on Saturday, August 3, 2024, after a short life, richly lived with God, his wife, family, three special furry friends, his comrades at work, and his community. Known for his big heart, special friendships, and dedication, he was loved beyond words and thought of constantly by his family and friends. Bradley loved to serve, whether at home with his wife, family, or community.

In 2014, in high school, he met the love of his life. He pursued her and let her know he was extremely interested in her. Even to the point of telling her that he was going to marry her. In 2017, they were married and started living their best life.

Bradley is survived by his wife – Brittany Pacheco-Link, dad and mom – Daniel and Christy Link, brother John Link, and sister Brittany Link.

Bradley’s law enforcement dream from as young as we can remember, was to serve the people, protect our communities, and safeguard our quality of life. He fulfilled this dream in 2017 by starting to work in Polk County. He transitioned to Lake County in 2019 and continued to live out his dream with the love of his life.

Bradley loved life to the fullest and enjoyed all kinds of things. He loved the guitar, playing tricks on Brittany, hanging out with friends, paint-balling, and fishing.

Deputy Bradley Michael Link was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. He had served with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for 4-1/2 years and had previously served with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for two years. He had also served as an Explorer with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office as a teenager.
