All Wired Up Team and Mentors

All Wired Up, Team #8057, a local robotics team, recently hosted a successful fundraiser night at Portillo’s Restaurant, drawing attention to their efforts and mission in the community. The team, composed of middle and high school students from Groveland, Clermont, Minneola, Mascotte, as well as West Orange, Hernando, and Sumter Counties, is dedicated to fostering a passion for technology and engineering among young people.

The team holds regular meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at their workshop located at 441 South Main Avenue, Room 207 in Groveland. During various portions of the year, they also conduct virtual sessions focusing on Programming and Computer-Aided Design (CAD), providing students with an opportunity to develop valuable technical skills.

Beyond the technical aspects, All Wired Up also offers training in marketing, business skills, videography, photography, animation, and other creative areas, ensuring a well-rounded experience for all participants. The team is actively seeking new members and welcomes students interested in exploring the exciting world of robotics and technology.

In addition, the team is always on the lookout for community members willing to volunteer as mentors. No prior experience in programming or engineering is required, as the team values diverse skill sets and the willingness to support and guide the next generation of innovators.

Local businesses interested in supporting the team or individuals looking to volunteer can visit website All Wired Up or call (321) 310-2201 to learn more about how they can contribute to this dynamic and impactful program.
