As the sun sets below the horizon, the anticipated monthly First Friday event will begin this Friday, September 6. The aroma of sizzling dishes will fill the air and people will head to Downtown Clermont to visit the food trucks that line Montrose Street.  Families and friends will listen to live music and vendors will sell their wares. Many shops stay open late so customers can browse and buy.

Over 30 food trucks and several vendors are expected for this event. Streets will close at 2 pm on Friday to allow food trucks and vendors to set up for the 5:30 pm event start time. Cars parked after 2 pm on Friday, September 6 on streets in the event area are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.

Kick off the weekend with family and friends in Historic Downtown Clermont (670 W. Montrose St., Clermont). Enjoy a fun-filled experience this Friday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
