Clermont Garden Club

The Clermont Garden Club’s Yard of the Month for September 2024 is the home of Yuklyn McLeod of 2337 Golden Aster Street, in the beautiful neighborhood of The Reserve of Lost Lake in Clermont. It is an amazingly manicured yard, showing a variety of plants, mainly succulents, amongst numerous flower beds made up of stones and other mediums of ground cover. Two majestic palms adorn the front, and to the side of the house a perfect example of an Agave

desmettiana with its large fleshy leaves and yellow edging. Other plants include Tylecodon bleckiae, Echeveria and Euphorbia tirucalli (also known as Indian tree spurge, naked lady, pencil tree, pencil cactus, firestick, aveloz or milk bush…the plant of many names! This Yard is not to be missed! Drive by to take a better look.

Clermont Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Club members meet monthly (September through May) at the clubhouse located at 849 West Avenue, Clermont, FL. New members and guests are warmly welcome.
