Dr. Linda Cowels, founder of Anointed Community Services International (ACSI), recently served as a guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Clermont. ACSI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to empowering economically and technologically disadvantaged members of the community, with a strong focus on women, underprivileged youth, and seniors. Through its programs, ACSI provides leadership development opportunities, educational resources, and career advancement, while addressing food insecurity among seniors and removing barriers to basic needs.
During her presentation, Dr. Cowels shared an in-depth update on the Elese Tomlin Center, which is currently under construction in Groveland.
