On Saturday, September 21, the South Lake Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clermont hosted the annual Sips and Salsa Festival at Waterfront Park. The vibrant event offered attendees a delightful fusion of music, dance, and culinary experiences, making it a day to remember for festival-goers of all ages.

The park was alive with the sounds of upbeat Latin music, as dancers took to the floor, creating an energetic and colorful atmosphere. The rich aromas of local food vendors filled the air, offering a variety of mouth-watering dishes and refreshing drinks. Attendees enjoyed sampling local culinary delights while sipping on unique beverages, making it a true celebration of Clermont’s diverse food scene.

One of the event’s highlights was the much-anticipated Fido’s Fiesta Dog Costume Contest, sponsored by Pat the Dog, a professional boarding and day-care facility. Pet owners dressed their furry companions in festive costumes, bringing smiles and excitement to the crowd. The contest added a fun and lighthearted touch to the festival, showcasing creativity and the strong bond between pets and their owners.

Sips and Salsa once again proved to be a community favorite, bringing people together to enjoy good food, lively entertainment, and the joy of celebrating culture in the heart of Clermont.
