Mount Dora would again march down the field running the ball right down the Eagle’s defense throat to give them a 28-14 lead in the third quarter. The Eagles did not quit.  Kaden Magloire would rip a 14-yard run to score narrowing the Hurricane Lead to 28-21. The Hurricanes would respond converting a first down on 3rd and fifteen. Coach Lord summarized the Game: “Mt. Dora was the best offense that we faced all year. Their offensive line and running game rammed it down our throats all night. They also exposed some weaknesses in our secondary. Offensively, we were very efficient tonight. We will have to correct our mistakes on defense and keep improving on offense every day if we are going to compete in the district. We have a very talented Ocala Forest team coming into Eagle Stadium this week for a district matchup. We will have to be disciplined on both sides of the ball to get another District win”
