As Thanksgiving approaches, Hands of Hope America is calling on the community of Central Florida to come together and ensure that every family has a meal to be thankful for this holiday season. The organization has launched its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, with a mission to collect non-perishable food items, monetary donations, and volunteers to support local families in need.

How You Can Help:

  • Donate Non-Perishable Foods: Contributions such as canned vegetables, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, instant potatoes, desserts, and other non-perishable items are crucial to making this drive a success.
  • Monetary Donations: Financial contributions, including gift cards from local grocery stores like Publix, Aldi, and Walmart, are also greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase additional food items.
  • Volunteer: Volunteers are needed to assist with sorting, packing, and distributing the collected food to those in need.

Drop-Off Locations:

  • Hands of Hope America Food Pantry – 9230 US Hwy 27, Suite C., Clermont
  • Four Corners Community Center – 16605 Sunrise Lake Blvd. #3, Clermont

For those unable to drop off donations, Hands of Hope America is offering a donation pick-up service. Donations can be dropped off or picked up Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm, until November 15, 2024.

“Every donation counts,” says Hands of Hope America. “Together, we can ensure no one in our community goes hungry this Thanksgiving.”
