UF Health Emergency & Urgent Care Center recently opened its doors in Clermont, celebrating with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce on Friday, October 18, at 11 am. Located at 4405 S. Hwy 27, the new facility introduces a unique healthcare model to the area by combining emergency and urgent care services under one roof.

At the heart of UF Health’s mission is a commitment to providing high-quality care while ensuring an extraordinary customer experience. The center’s approach focuses on billing patients only for the level of care they need, aiming to make healthcare more affordable. Every patient receives attention from emergency medicine staff regardless of whether they require urgent care or emergency services.

The facility is equipped with advanced medical resources, including on-site labs, X-ray, ultrasound, and CT technology, to efficiently treat a range of medical needs, from fevers and breathing difficulties to fractures. The 24/7 ER and urgent care clinic allows residents access to both urgent and emergency care around the clock.
