Ever thought about delving into your family history, or started but felt overwhelmed? This course is designed to guide you to the right places for research and highlight key elements to look for. What prompted our ancestors to move to America? Their motivations can be a powerful catalyst in our quest to uncover more about them. Grasp the research process and master the necessary steps! The course features four research websites, real-time demonstrations, and an introduction to useful research software. Topics covered include the Reasons for Immigration, a Basic Ancestry Research Plan, Exploration of Research Websites, and an Overview of Research Software. 
 
To attend the class please arrive at Cooper Memorial Library early on November 6th.  Class will be in room 221 at 1pm.  Walk-ins are welcome or you can Enroll by visiting our website.  http://PastfindersSLC.org We hope to see you at CML for Pastfinders Family History Research Class.  Becoming your family historian is a wonderful journey all about You!  Remember These classes are standalone, so you can join any session without needing to attend previous ones.
