Montverde Academy recently announced the newly appointed members of the Middle School Honor Council. In the Middle School, the Honor Council takes a proactive approach to addressing the challenges that students face. Although members are sometimes asked for their input regarding student disciplinary issues, the primary goal of the Honor Council is to take a proactive approach to creating an environment and building a community where students speak the truth, honor their relationships with each other, respect each other, respect each other’s belongings and personal space, and respect each other’s ability to voice their opinion on various issues.

The Honor Council held their first meeting of the 2024-25 school year where they introduced themselves to other members, reviewed the Honor Council Constitution, and cast their votes for president and secretary.

Seventh grader Joe Bobilin was elected president, and eighth grader Juliette Carillo was elected secretary. Congratulations to Joe, Juliette, and all the new members of the Honor Council as they work together to support the culture of the Academy.
