It was an evening of culinary delights and community celebration at the annual Taste of South Lake and Business Expo, hosted by AdventHealth and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, November 7th, at Clermont’s scenic Waterfront Park. As one of South Lake’s most anticipated events, this gathering offered guests a memorable night out, filled with delicious food, local business showcases, and entertainment for all ages.

Each year, Taste of South Lake brings together over 30 local restaurants and food vendors, treating guests to a rich variety of flavors. From classic American dishes to Italian and Indian cuisine, attendees had the opportunity to sample a wide range of tastes from talented chefs and popular eateries. Additionally, 35 local businesses from diverse industries participated, showcasing innovative products and services and giving guests a chance to explore what the South Lake community has to offer.

The atmosphere under the large tent—protected from rain or shine—was vibrant, with live entertainment setting the perfect backdrop for mingling and laughter. A spirited awards contest added an extra layer of excitement to the evening. As local restaurants and businesses vied for recognition, guests celebrated the best of South Lake.

Taste of South Lake is a community favorite for its combination of excellent food, live performances, and the opportunity to support and engage with local businesses. The event exemplifies the spirit of South Lake, bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate the area’s vibrant culture and thriving local businesses.
