The Clermont Police Department kicked off its annual Stuff a Cruiser campaign at the Clermont Walmart on John’s Lake Road this week. Officers and support staff were on hand to collect new and unwrapped toys for the upcoming Christmas and holiday season. The toys are distributed to families that the police department has a working knowledge of and may need a helping hand to make the holidays complete for a child.

The toys collected are also donated to area charities that help the South Lake Community in various ways. Two organizations are Charities Across South Lake and Christian Men in Action. Both organizations are non-profit organizations that depend solely on donations from local businesses and the community to ensure each child has at least one holiday gift.
