The holiday spirit was alive and well in Downtown Clermont on Saturday, December 6, as thousands gathered to witness the spectacular annual parade. Starting at 10 am, the parade showcased an array of beautifully decorated floats, dazzling holiday dancers, and impressive marching bands. The highlight of the event, as always, was the arrival of Santa Claus, delighting children and adults alike.
Throughout the season, visit City Hall where a beautiful tree is adorned as the focal point of the downtown festivities and can be viewed through the holidays.
Another must-see attraction this season is the Enchanted Forest of Trees at Victory Pointe. The trees, adorned in their holiday finest, line the scenic path, creating a mesmerizing display of lights and holiday music.
For those looking to immerse themselves further in the festivities, a walk around Center Lake offers stunning views of the beautiful displays sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Clermont.
The “Cookies and Cocoa” event returns on Friday, December 13th from 6 pm to 9 pm. This annual event is a collaboration between the City of Clermont and the downtown businesses. This holiday event offers an opportunity to explore the unique shops and savor sweet treats as you stroll through the beautiful downtown area. Merchants provide free, yummy cookies and rich, hot chocolate as local entertainers perform at City Hall Park. Stroll around and see all of the decorated shop windows.
