The Neighborhood Center of South Lake (TNC) and Find, Feed, Restore are proud to partner with Light the World: Giving Machine this holiday season at the Altamonte Mall. From December 17, 2024, to January 2, 2025, donors can make a meaningful impact by selecting items that support families and individuals in need locally.

The Giving Machine is a giving-focused vending machine experience sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This holiday season, for the first time ever in Central Florida, the Giving Machine will be located at the Altamonte Mall, offering an innovative way to give back to the community. Through these unique vending machines, donors can purchase a variety of in-demand items to benefit local nonprofit organizations, including TNC.

The Giving Machine offers a simple yet impactful way for individuals to make a tangible difference during the holidays by providing essential resources to those in need in the local community.

Items featured in the Giving Machine include essentials and other key resources that directly benefit individuals and families in need throughout Central Florida. Prices for items range from $5 to $250, with the option to make larger, combined donations. Each donation is a meaningful contribution to the local community.

About The Light the World Giving Machine

The Light the World Giving Machine offers a unique opportunity to donate essential items directly through vending machines, helping those in need both locally and globally. In 2023, the Giving Machines were placed in 61 cities across the U.S. and six other countries. The machines raise money for participating nonprofits, with 100% of donations going directly to support programs that provide vital resources for the most vulnerable populations.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints covers all program operational expenses, ensuring that participating organizations like TNC receive the full benefit of the funds raised.
