Members of the South Lake High School Football Team attended the 54th Annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes Citrus Bowl Breakfast on December 30th.
Senior Offensive Tackle and team captain Connor Plummer was recognized for the Doug Scott Leadership Award for his four years of service and leadership as a South Lake Eagle Football Player. Malik Holman, the 6A District 8 player of the year was recognized for the Dexter Rentz JR Overcomer Award for overcoming adversity, and Offensive Coordinator Mark Woolum was recognized for the Del Wright Assistant Coaches Award for his leadership, years of service, and dedication to the South Lake High School Football program and the Groveland Community.
The Illini came out on top at the game, 21-17, which the players and coaches attended
